Bee keeper...You're right about the three's. Bee keepers keep to a rule of three's for looking after bees. And there are many other examples. But there's also the things like 'two's company and three's a crowd'! I love your foxglove sweater using the Jamieson’s Shetland yarns. I've used their yarns too and they're really good. I'm sorry to hear about your experiences with the yoke! Also relieved to know that I'm not the only one who makes such mistakes. Especially the mistake of thinking you've made a mistake when you haven't. Anyway, three decades before you can get your pension isn't bad going. I will have to work (i.e. years after graduating) 45 years before I can claim my state pension! I've been making apple sauce, apple pies, baked apples, dried apples .... anything to use up all my apples. I made some into cordial today along with blackcurrants.Gillianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13234219836891799676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8043113942704297697.post-11067848176938696432015-10-30T09:02:24.899-04:002015-10-30T09:02:24.899-04:00Funny how things come in threes - not always good ...Funny how things come in threes - not always good ones either! So lovely to see your foxglove sweater emerging - goodness, it looks complicated, though! Can't wait to see it when it's finished. Your knitted characters are always wonderful - that rabbit with his carrot - gorgeous! Your pumpkins, persimmons and apples (three again!) all look very promising and have made me want to go and make apple sauce this afternoon instead of ploughing through a mountain of paperwork! Sending you a hug and wishing you all a lovely end-of-October Fall weekend. E xThomasina Tittlemousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01574272724724663796noreply@blogger.com
